Job summary

In this role, you will, as part of a small team, work with the relevant Product Development teams, within the Technology organization, to ensure they achieve and maintain compliance with Equifax Security Policy (which is based on NIST), Regulatory, and Compliance frameworks as appropriate (specifically SOC 1 & 2, SOX, PCI-DSS, FedRAMP & FISMA).

What You’ll Do

  • As the Subject Matter Expert within the Technology Team, you will be responsible for ensuring that the relevant members of the Technology team understand what is required of them in relation to Policy and Regulatory Compliance, articulating control intent and framework requirements to the Technology Team.
  • Provide Project & Program Management (specifically including Status & Risk Management Reporting) to these teams in support of Policy and Regulatory Compliance activities.
  • Liaise directly with Corporate Security & Compliance teams to ensure proper flow of information, evidence and other materials between them and the Technology team.
  • Ensure evidence provided by the Technology team is appropriate for the relevant requirement prior to it being submitted. Where appropriate, provide feedback to the Global Security & Compliance teams in relation to the evidence required.
  • Work with the Global Security & Compliance teams to ensure that the Technology team is provided with clear guidance as to how the various Regulatory Frameworks are mapped into the Equifax Security policy.
  • Serve as the point person for Equifax Workforce Solutions Technology team during all information security audits and examinations.
  • Provide a forward view of the Audits and other assessments that will require Technology team involvement.

Qualifications

  • BS or MS degree or equivalent job experience required
  • 5+ yrs of experience demonstrating understanding of the key regulatory frameworks relevant to Equifax along with experience of driving compliance to and attainment of these within Technology teams. Specifically NIST, SOC 1 & 2, SOX, PCI-DSS, FedRAMP & FISMA.
  • 5+ yrs of well-developed leadership and program management capabilities in agile environment with demonstrated success completing multiple cross-functional, cross-business, and cross-cultural projects

  • Demonstrated abilities in developing, implementing, and improving success metrics around high performing technology teams – ideally with experience in technology transformation
