Job Description

You will be able to contribute to two of the most exciting topics in the automotive industry in one job: Automated Driving and Connected Services! Help us in developing services for providing digital maps for automated driving functions based on large-scale fleet data. We are working in agile, interdisciplinary teams towards making automated driving safer, more reliable and more comfortable.

• You are responsible for concept creation, implementation and continuous improvement of the product specific quality strategy.
• You define and implement KPIs and metrics for evaluating large digital maps regarding their precision, quality and coverage.
• The implementation of metrics and KPIs as software modules for the cloud-based map creation platform belongs to your tasks, as well as the integration of quality and test software modules into the overall map creation platform.
• Furthermore, you continuously review and improve test automation and test coverage.
• You also continuously align quality assurance concepts with quality department, process experts, project management and customers.

Qualifications

• Education: M.Sc./Diploma/PhD in the field of computer science, electrical engineering, IT or other related studies, ideally with a
  focus on quality engineering or Software Engineering / Software Development
• Personality and Working Practice: "Hands-on" mindset, willingness to take coding tasks and participate in coding reviews, high level of initiative and strong team spirit, highly developed communication skills
• Experience and Knowledge: strong background or professional experience with quality assurance of digital maps, strong coding skills in C++ or Python, solid and profound skills with clean coding, software testing and version control (Git), practical experiences and skills in the field of continuous integration and deployment (i.e. Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Azure Pipelines), professional experience with the development and operation of cloud services in production is a plus, certifications in the field of Microsoft Azure are a plus
• Languages: English (speaking and writing), German is a plus
