Lead Product Consultant – IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM)

ROLE SUMMARY

This role requires a lead level Payments SME with extensive experience in implementing IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM). The candidate should have prior experience in leading the overall FTM solution definition, design, configuration, testing, migration & support phases.

The candidate should have SME level expertise in IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM).

JOB DUTIES

Techno-functional lead for IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) implementation including Requirement Analysis, Integration Design, configuration, transformation, migration, QA support, Go Live support, and Production Support.

    • Facilitate and drive requirement elicitation meetings, workshops, demonstrations etc. with different IT & Business stakeholders.
    • Lead efforts for IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) configuration, clearing message support, integrations, and test support.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

14+ years of overall IT experience.

    • 8+ Years of experience as an expert in IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) product.
    • 3+ Years of experience in other IBM products such as IIB, WTX and MQ
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

MANDATORY SKILLS

    • SME level expertise in IBM FTM configuration, migration, uplift, and testing.
    • Familiar with Payments messaging standards such as SWIFT, Canada Lynx, Canada ACSS, Interac.
    • Familiar with SOA design principles and very well versed with Web Services and XML technologies
    • Experience with Linux/Unix platforms and expert technical resource for modeling, simulation, and analysis.
    • Strong software development background along with Java programming background with emphasis on systems integration
    • Working knowledge of real-time messaging and batch file transfer implementation and troubleshooting using different packages and methodologies (MQ, FTP, SCP, Sterling, etc.)
    • Excellent communication skills - Fluent Oral and Written English, good convincing skills, and market analysis skills.

ADDITIONAL DESIRED SKILLS

    • Technical knowledge on Java / Microservices (Good understanding and few hands-on experience), Tibco, MQ, Rest API.
    • Knowledge of test automation tools and processes, agile project management methodology
    • Experience implementing Quality Assurance best practices pertaining to test definition, requirements tracking, and test automation.
