Internship Trade Marketing / Visual Merchandizing

Join our Store Design Team in our Zurich Headquarters for a 6 months internship (100%)

Estee Lauder and Clinique brands have an exciting opportunity to appoint a Visual Merchandising Intern reporting to the Trade Marketing leads of both brands. As part of the Swiss Estee Lauder and Clinique teams, you will be working closely across different departments: regional Brand, local Marketing and Commercial teams. The position will be responsible for planning and executing all Visual Merchandising related duties and projects in alignment with the go-to-market strategies of the Estee Lauder and Clinique brands.

Your key responsibilities:

• Planning and execution of Visual Merchandising (VM) strategy across all channels, including lightboxes and tester modules
• Preparation of forecasts and ordering of VM elements related to Newness and Store Design
• Work closely with Product Marketing for planning of Newness in VM planograms
• Create and deploy the VM launch and asset updates guidelines to the sales field team
• Assist in projects in relation to roll-out and updates of VM digital tools
• Assess needs and coordinate the local production of VM elements to support go to market strategies
• Update of translation of assets in line with communication set by Consumer Marketing go-to-marketing strategy
• Support for implementing brand apps in iPads working closely with IT Support lead
• Support ad-hoc requests presentations for the Brand teams
  

What you bring:

• A degree in Marketing, Visual Merchandizing or Retail Design
• First experience with VM and/or Trade Marketing, ideally with a relation to retail or consumer goods
• Ability to manage projects and communicate effectively with all cross functional teams both verbally and in forms of presentation
• At ease writing engaging and flawless communication pieces
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• At ease using the Microsoft Office solutions (Excel, PowerPoint, ..)
• A fluency in English as well as a good understanding of German
