Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience working in a user acquisition or advertising sales role.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and an additional European language fluently.
  • Ability to travel as required.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working in the App Marketing industry.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the digital marketing landscape.
  • Developed understanding of the App Marketers and Gaming ecosystem.
  • Effective communication and influencing skills, with the ability to pitch comprehensive advertising solutions for any client.
  • Proactive, organized, and responsible, with the demonstrated ability to work well in a team.
  • Demonstrated interest in sales, and in working with and educating new advertisers.

Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

The Mobile App Developer Sales team (AppDev) has large goals and a global reach - our mission is to help Mobile App Developers grow with Google. The team is responsible for growing existing "mobile first" Google Ads customers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. As a Growth Manager, you will advise on app marketing strategies which will help our partners achieve their user acquisition goals, and serve as an expert and advocate for mobile app advertisement within Google.

You'll proactively reach out to customers with solutions and insights, from account optimizations, to product betas, to strategic performance reviews in order to build comprehensive solutions for our customer. You will travel in-country as needed, attend/present at speaking engagements at industry events, and have performance-focused conversations with app developers and marketers. You will also work closely with internal stakeholders across GCS, and to show the sales teams what the growth opportunity is and how to run successful app advertisement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with existing customers, and develop a thorough understanding of their business objectives, goals and challenges.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities in your book of business, prioritize accounts, manage objections and evaluate campaign effectiveness
  • Consult with C-level customers to achieve national and international marketing goals; utilize Google’s marketing solutions suite, specifically app advertising.
  • Provide outstanding service to customers and design app marketing solutions for customers to drive long-term success.
  • Contribute to the development of Google’s comprehensive suite of app install advertisement products; work and collaborate with a diverse set of mobile-focused cross-functional teams.
