What You’ll Be Doing:

Supporting the development and execution of the company’s overall growth strategy –

  • Conduct strategic analyses to prioritize attractive organic and inorganic revenue opportunities
  • Expand the firm’s knowledge base in emerging and adjacent terrains
  • Assess competitive landscape and pressures
  • Develop and evaluate new business opportunities/ideas/potential partner companies

Driving the research, development, and support the launch of new product or partnership opportunities –

  • For most attractive growth opportunities, assess value of build/buy/partner
  • Help define potential product concepts and conduct primary market and customer testing
  • Develop pro-forma analyses
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations to develop and deploy solutions
  • Support M&A screening and due diligence accountability for actionable targets
  • Evaluate potential for alliances and channel partnerships to support growth

Helping to optimize existing solutions –

  • Investigate, test, and help design new solution elements, everything from new physician contracting models to clinical AI
  • Help create streamlined external communication of our solutions to improve client understanding of capabilities and our unique value proposition

The Experience You’ll Need (Required):

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years of business development experience

Finishing Touches (Preferred):

  • Previous experience working in healthcare
  • Experience in a strategy management consulting firm
  • Growth strategy experience, e.g., assessing new business lines, entrepreneurial experience
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and creativity
  • Analytic rigor
  • Drive to get stuff done
  • Resourcefulness--ability to procure detailed data and information
  • Proven time-management skills and attention to detail
  • Outstanding written and oral presentation skills, ability to engage in back-and-forth conversation with senior leaders, and ability to develop strong relationships

Technical requirements:

Currently, Evolent employees work remotely temporarily due to COVID-19. As such, we require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 MBPS and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.
