Product Marketing Manager - GoDaddy Pro

Job Description

Location: This position will be located in Arizona or Remote (US Only).

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Colorado, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

What you'll get to do...

• Customer insights – Learn from customers to understand their challenges, aspirations, and needs through self-motivated research or partnering with the research team.
• Product positioning – Support and help craft the development of differentiated market positioning for an array of site building products and services.
• Go to Market input – Partner with the Go-to-Market teams and provide key input on the customer target and product value proposition to launch new services.
• Product and UX team collaboration - Join forces with our product teams as we build out new customer experiences based on input you help gather from our most engaged users.
• Pricing and Packaging - Support the research, testing, and development of pricing and plan tiers that make sense to customers and achieve business goals.
• Market intelligence - Support cross-functional discussion and documentation on competitive offerings and potential response in regards to product packaging, positioning, and pricing.
• Sales and field marketing enablement - Partner with our sales and field marketing teams in supporting the creation of vital collateral, promotions, training, and tools to drive growth.

Your experience should include...

• 2+ years experience in marketing, communications, customer support or similar department at a multifaceted technology organization and/or in a relevant consulting, CPG, or entrepreneurial setting. Experience working with small businesses, freelancers, or technical consumers (non-enterprise) preferred.
• 5+ years professional experience in roles relevant to the job description within an organization or agency.
• Experience in developing customer-facing messaging/copy, project briefs, and contributing inputs/ideas for marketing plans.
• Demonstrated ability to translate customer insights, research, and/or data into action plans.
• Demonstrated ability to translate technical details into benefits for the user.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate sophisticated concepts clearly and simply.
• Working knowledge of analytics tools.
• Understanding of testing methodologies and/or optimization best practices used in marketing.
• A team-first player with a strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop and execute tests and initiatives on a timely basis.
• Experience in marketing web hosting, eCommerce, and website maintenance/management tools a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
