The role: You will work with our customers and colleagues to configure and operate ETL pipelines that ingest large flat files, including payer eligibility files and historical loads of hospital encounter data. This is a customer-facing role that requires strong technical acumen, clear communication and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Who you'll work with: · You will work most closely with your teammates on the ETL team · Implementation, integration, and support teams to ensure operational success, i.e., our customers are being served well each day · Product and engineering teams to enhance the Collective platform and to resolve issues requiring engineering support · Account management to ensure our customers’ success in leveraging the Collective platform What you’ll be doing day to day: · Configure and troubleshoot data loads that ingest flat files from our customers · Use Linux command line to locate, analyze and download files · Query MySQL databases to research questions and draft DML to be run · Work closely with colleagues who represent our customers · Identify, implement, and sustain process improvements to support the ETL team and our stakeholders Skills and experience we seek: · Proficient with Linux command line, including advanced use of tools like grep and vim · Proficient querying SQL databases (we use MySQL) · Proficient in a scripting language (e.g., Python) · Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including functions · Hands on experience building and/or operating data pipelines · An interest in process improvement · Clear verbal and written communication · Thrives in a fast-paced and fluid work environment What success will look like: · You will become a trusted teammate on the ETL team · Colleagues throughout the company--especially in Technical Services, Engineering, Product, Customer Success and Support--will view you as a trusted collaborator · You will perform most of your work, including new implementation projects and support cases, independently and bring ideas to the table when seeking guidance on your work #LI-Hybrid It is the policy of PointClickCare to ensure equal employment opportunity without discrimination or harassment on the basis of race, religion, national origin, status, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital or domestic/civil partnership status, disability, veteran status, genetic information, or any other basis protected by law.
