Finanical Planning and Procurement Manager (f/m/d)

What challenges await you?

As a Financial Planning and Procurement Manager you are accountable for leading all Planning and Forecasting processes and analysis, including the quarterly Forecasts and annual Business Plan for Germany, you are the ASG Hub consolidator and the key provider of strategic finance information and analysis to the management team and to Business Units. You are responsible for developing highly analytical financial and budgetary forecasts for the ASG Hub, ensure close contact and alignment with IBU Finance. The position also has ownership on regional processes: Buy-Up coordination, quality assurance and submission, outlook consolidation and is the gate keeper of the Finance standard reporting governance. Besides the position is also accountable to lead productivity initiatives across the ASG Hub, being the single point of contact for Procurement regional while leading/implementing regional and global initiatives.

Main responsibilities:

  • Leading the Financial Planning area for the Germany Hub, consolidating figures and leading planning processes for the hub and improving capabilities to the team
  • Acting as a Business Partner for the affiliate with advice, analysis, and strategy forreporting, planning and throughout the Business Plan/Forecasting process
  • Building strong relation with the affiliate’s business teams to provide an effective support.
  • Proactively carryout value-added analysis on financial data, supporting and testing information provided by global and regional financial officers
  • Leading collaboration with financial control staff to ensure consistent financial data reporting, processes, and results
  • Preparing the development of detailed budget, Sales Forecast for use in global and regional
  • Driving continuous learning within the country by performing post-implementation financial analyses on past initiatives and sharing results across the affiliate
  • Participating in the financial initiatives as Business Planning, Budgetary control, financial reporting, and Business Support to the affiliates.
  • Participating in plan target setting processes and working on roadmaps to achieve plan/forecast according to the needs of the affiliate management
  • Understanding and reporting results, to drive financial insights to the key stakeholders
  • Leading implementation and stabilization of key global/regional projects
  • Accountability for vendor management, in alignment with regional ASG Hub Risk assessments
  • Accountability for key vendor categories and lead analysts through strong SRM action plans
  • Continuing to improve Vendors and Thirty party management awareness across organization

  • University degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or related fields, Desired: MBA in Finance
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial planning or relevant functions
  • Experience in procurement is a plus
  • Understanding of accounting principles and guidelines
  • Application of financial skills to provide strategy, analysis, and advice
  • Strong Leadership skills as well as strong analytical and strategic thinking
  • Problem solving skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluent in English, German language knowledge is desirable
