Job Description

Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Sales Operations Manager to join our Growth Operations team.

About the role:

Working specifically across the Cigna + Oscar line-of-business, you will play a key role in developing, building, and rolling out our sales operations infrastructure as we scale this product and our sales team.

You will report into the Senior Manager, Growth Strategy. This is a remote / work-from-home role. You must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Washington. Note, this list of states is subject to change.

Responsibilities:

  • Own all sales operational processes and procedures related to our Cigna + Oscar Small Group product, including design and roll out of new workflows to support our growing sales organization
  • Build and manage key sales process and policies, including underwriting guidelines, group eligibility requirements, exception requests, and advanced escalations
  • Partner with our Strategy, Sales, Account Management, and Eligibility and Billing teams to build processes, workflows, and training resources that continue to make Oscar the easiest carrier to do business with
  • Provide advanced level service and escalation support to sales teams and key external distribution partners, including general agents, exchanges, and national brokers
  • Partner closely with Small Group/Cigna + Oscar leadership to identify and manage reporting, forecasting, and monitoring requirements for both Oscar and Cigna leadership
  • Partner with our Legal, Finance, IT, Security, and Compliance teams to ensure all growth operation processes follow current and future regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience, with at least 3+ years of sales operations experience in a managed care, healthcare, or employee benefits organization
  • Experience preparing reports for Sales, Account Management, and Insurance Operations teams
  • Proficiency with Excel
  • Project management experience

Bonus points:

  • Experience within a Small Group insurance sales, account service, or underwriting team
  • CRM / Salesforce / JIRA experience
  • SQL experience
