Manager, Enterprise Brand Marketing- Sponsorship Strategy (Contract)

What is the opportunity?

In this contract role as Manager, Brand Marketing Sponsorship you will be a central contributor to sponsorship strategy across the organization, act as the Enterprise lead on RBC Race for the Kids and sponsorship activations for P&CB cornerstone partnerships such as Toronto International Film Festival, and Inside Out Festival. This is a great role that perfectly combines both strategic sponsorship impact, as well as creative execution activating on these tier 1 properties.

What will you do?

• Lead the activation, integration, and execution of RBC’s lead sponsorship of TIFF, including all creative development, RBC House, and RBC Red Carpet Gallery activations
• Lead activation for key regional sponsorships for P&CB such as Inside Out Film Festival
• Oversee the strategic oversight and management of Sponsorium (RBC’s Sponsorship Automation tool), as well as our consulting agency Wasserman
• Lead the support for the various businesses on their sponsorship strategies to ensure Sponsorship is being utilized as a brand building tool across the Enterprise by providing consistent strategic support and council
• Develop, execute, and maintain a strategic plan for standardized sponsorship activation and evaluation tools for the Enterprise
• Lead the oversight and management of Race for the Kids globally, including regular engagement of the various races, onsite audits, global calls, best practices and helping race leads implement the race format in their market
• Act as an integrator to ensure operational and administrative effectiveness of brand marketing strategies
• Act as internal gatekeeper and submission manager for any and all creative that leverages partner and endorsee IP (marks, logos, imagery)

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Experience with sponsorship marketing, either from the brand, property, or agency side
• Proven ability to innovate and create differentiating, proprietary marketing programs to build brand leadership; proven expertise in flawless program execution.
• Experience managing agencies through the development of national consumer promotions
• Attention to detail and process driven
• Experience managing budgets and timelines
• High level proficiency in Powerpoint, Excel, Word and ability to master new computer software
