Help shape the next generation of ecommerce for the next generation of consumer.

About the role

The Operations Team Captain will lead, supervise, and support the activities of the Operations Team, including the unboxing/boxing, processing, and dock areas. S/he will oversee the daily team production activity and facilitate departmental workflow.

What you will do

  • Creating layout and people placement for operations areas at the beginning of shifts
  • Monitoring productivity of team members to ensure that daily/weekly goals are met
  • Providing coaching and training to both new team members and those struggling to hit productivity goals
  • Troubleshooting team issues or concerns that arise throughout daily shifts
  • Managing team workflow throughout daily shifts

About you

  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience operations/warehouse environments
  • Minimum of 1 year leadership experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate team members
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment

Working Conditions:

  • The Authentication Center is a warehouse environment with working conditions found in a typical warehouse setting. Team members may be regularly exposed to dust, odors, and noise. Required safety equipment includes gloves and protective eyewear. Shirts with sleeves are recommended, though not required.
  • Team members in this environment will be required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, turn, and pivot more than 75% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently lift up to 50 pounds; on occasion may be required to lift up to 100 pounds
  • May be required to operate a pallet jack, baler, compactor, Air Speed machine, and/or tape machine
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
  • Good sense of balance
  • Good eye-hand-foot coordination
  • Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season
