Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial) or equivalent practical experience.
• Work and/or internship experience.
• A design portfolio demonstrating interaction and visual design experience.

Preferred qualifications:

• Excellent analytical, presentation, project management, and communication skills.
• Excellent problem solving, interaction, and visual design skills.

As an Interaction Designer, you’ll rely on user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences—from concept to execution. The YouTube Ads UX team works to create the best possible experience for everybody who uses YouTube. To do so, we provide relevant ad experiences to people enjoying videos, and help video creators effectively grow their YouTube presence. This helps us focus on how advertisers reach people who resonate with a brand’s message

User experience is at the forefront of how we create intuitive, innovative, and beautiful products that people love. We strive to learn and understand our users’ needs, behaviors, and emotions to gather insights that inform product strategy and design. Our UX teams include designers, researchers, content strategists, and engineers who are passionate about quality, usability, and simplicity. Responsibilities

• Work closely with UX research, Product, and Engineering to understand and define the vision of our products.
• Work closely with Sales and Advertisers to understand the evolving video ads industry.
• Design complex enterprise applications.
