Eaton’s Bussmann Division is currently seeking a Senior Marketing Communications Technical Specialist to join our team . This position is based at our Ellisville, MO location.

Position Overview:

The Senior Marketing Communications Technical Specialist provides a wide range of support services to Engineering, Product Management (including retail), Field Application Engineers, Application Engineers and Sales, with emphasis on production of technical content and website development and management.

This individual has a thorough understanding of electrical power distribution basics and terminology, plus the needs of the electrical market, including original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), electrical contractors and inspectors, electricians, consulting/ specifying engineers, and electrical distribution channels throughout North America, to create effective technical/training publications.

The Senior Marketing Communications Technical Specialist is key to supporting the Bussmann series technical expertise pillar and communicating new product capabilities and value propositions while upholding branding standards.

In this function you will:

• Create content through publishing applications including writing, editing and producing graphic layout of the
• Selecting Protective Devices (SPD) handbook full line catalogs and new product data sheets.
• Write and edit technical articles, white papers product labels and instruction sheets.
• Understand customers’ website usage paths to information and organize accordingly while following Eaton parameters.
• Build pages in content management system and interface with/deliver Marketing Communication obligations to Product Data Hub (PDH).
• Produce photography for publications, website and PDH applications.
• Develop video scripts and conduct video/audio shoots.
• Project manage publication development and large customer projects including proprietary customer databases.
• Interact with full North America teams including coordinating with country and sales managers for technical communication needs.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
• Five plus (5+) years of writing/layout production experience in a technical or industrial environment or B2B advertising with emphasis on technical accounts.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• No relocation is being offered for this role. All candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Ellisville, MO location.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Communications, Marketing or Business from an accredited institution.
• Extensive knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign.
