IDEO CoLab Ventures is hiring a Community & Portfolio Manager to grow thriving and supportive communities across IDEO’s venture collective: founders, builders, investors, and other friends. You will be reporting directly to our General Partner focused on building an operations and community strategy.

We’re a network-native venture organization. That means we’re not just investors, but we’re also hands-on contributors to the communities and teams that we support. We’re inspired by the future of web3 and community ownership. We help design, launch and grow networks that empower people everywhere to participate in building and operating Web3 together.

Ideally, you will:

• Be organized, process and systems driven. You’re an expert generalist, and spreadsheets make you happy.
• Be a people person, who has 2 years of experience building diverse communities on and offline. Bonus points if you are already involved in a few web3 communities.
• Love creating the conditions for learning, connecting and collaborating through programming, events and experiences.
• Have an authentic interest and curiosity in web3 and crypto

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing our investment pipeline, including tools and touchpoints with potential and current community members.
• Managing and tracking relationships and communication with potential and current IDEO founders and community
• Building a diverse and thriving communities across the IDEO collective
• Produce IRL and virtual events, experiences, content and other programing
• Initiating and leading special projects (building internal products and programs, research deep dives, etc.)
• Collaborating with IDEO marketing to tell stories that elevate the work of our portfolio companies and community members

You’ll also have the opportunity to:

• Dive deeper down the crypto rabbit hole and continue your crypto journey
• Initiate and lead special projects (building internal products and programs, research deep dives, etc.) as we transition IDEO CoLab Ventures from a venture fund into a crypto venture collective
• Push the edges of community building in Web3
