Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Financial Analyst – Corporate to join Procore’s rapidly growing Financial Planning and Analysis team. In this highly critical and visible role, you’ll build, analyze, and communicate complex financial analysis that empowers our business leaders and executives to make strategic decisions.

As a Senior Financial Analyst – Corporate, you’ll apply your strong analytical and interpersonal skills to develop partnerships with business leaders throughout the organization, and execute executive-level financial reporting. Attention to detail, determined work ethic, and willingness to roll up your sleeves are must-haves to succeed in this role.

This position reports to our Director, Strategy and Corporate Finance, and can be based in Austin, San Francisco, San Diego, or at our HQ in Carpinteria, CA. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you'll do:

• Lead the preparation of corporate reporting materials such as our Board of Directors presentations, Executive Leadership updates, Earnings Call prep materials, and monthly/quarterly financial consolidations.
• Partner with Senior Product and Revenue Leadership on corporate reporting, articulating company strategies, historical challenges, and areas of opportunity Oversee complex Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and Equity Compensation models
• Synthesize complex models and analyses into outcome-oriented, visual presentations
• Partner with Accounting to deliver monthly deliverables (i.e., detailed cash flow forecasts), communicate nuances with financial statement treatments to FP&A team, and maintain and manage FP&A monthly calendar alignment
• Assess the key drivers, risks, and opportunities to assist decision-makers across our business
• Work cross functionally with the department-facing FP&A Business Partner Analysts to produce reports and critical insights for the SVP of Finance and Chief Financial Officer.
• Utilize company data to model, design, develop, and maintain ad-hoc and automated financial dashboards, reports, and metrics

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or other related areas
• 3+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance or accounting
• Expert knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and other standard business software is required
• Experience performing in-depth financial analysis and presenting findings to key stakeholders and business leaders
• Hungry, yet humble, and full of energy and passion for delivering results in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
• Ability and desire to take initiative on new problems (with unknown variables) given we are a high growth SaaS organization
• Enjoys leading and participating in critical projects for company-wide decision making
• Exceptional communication, writing and attention-to-detail skills
• Experience in a SaaS environment a plus
• Experience with Financial Management systems, such as Anaplan, Hyperion, Intacct Netsuite, Coupa, etc. is a plus
