We are looking to hire a superstar Head of Internal Audit who will develop and own the Internal Audit function for Revolut India. This will be a new role within our India office and would work closely with the Global Head of Audit.
WHAT YOU NEED TO ACHIEVE • You will be responsible for the production and delivery of the internal audit plan covering Revolut’s legal entities in India. • In addition you will need to efficiently, quickly and effectively deliver a portfolio of impactful audits that provide both assurance and insight to help Revolut meet its goals.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING • Develop the annual audit plan for Revolut’s legal entities in India considering regulatory requirements and risks associated with the operations of the India entity • Develop and maintain the Internal Audit Policies and Procedures • Interact with regulators, Board and internal stakeholders and represent the Internal Audit department in local Executive Committees. • Develop and execute audit programs in accordance with internal audit policies, procedures, methodologies, regulatory requirements • Proactively seek ways to make the best use of data as part of our audit process including to inform our understanding of risks, test controls and provide relevant insights to the business • Communicate and discuss audit findings and recommendations with relevant stakeholders • Develop audit reports which identify deficiencies and underlying root causes; provide recommendations to mitigate/address deficiencies while adding value to Revolut • Build-out an audit capability within India through direct hires/co-sourcing • Work closely with business units (both India-based and globally) at all levels to develop recommendations for audit findings, business process optimisation, internal control and compliance • Conduct follow-up reviews of deficiencies noted during audits • Identify common features across audits and organisation-wide issues and propose appropriate improvements
WHAT YOU'LL NEED • 10+ years of professional experience in an audit related role within a regulated financial services environment. CA, CPA or CIA preferred • Deep knowledge of systems and controls within Payments/Retail Banking businesses for managing prudential (incl. credit, market, liquidity, operational) and conduct risks • Excellent understanding of regulatory compliance requirements in India • Experience in interacting with regulators and executive members • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Strong organisational and project management skills • Attention to detail; strong communication skills
