As the eyes and ears of our members, the marketing team’s responsibility is to deeply understand their challenges and strategically build campaigns to meet their needs. We’re looking for a smart, resourceful Social Media and Community Manager to join the team.

As a Social Media and Community Manager, you will craft organic social media content and play an important role in developing brand messaging and positioning. The ideal candidate is someone with a strong intuition for community engagement and a passion for trends and innovation in the healthcare space. In addition to managing our presence on our owned social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube), you will also identify, reach out to, and cultivate partnerships with key influencers in the healthcare/medical space. You will partner closely with our Marketing, PR, Design and Editorial teams to maintain a robust and regularly updated social media calendar.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with Doximity’s mission of making physicians’ lives more productive.
  • Initiate and maintain relationships with physician influencers by organizing and developing specific influencer-relations programs.
  • Supervise all aspects of social media interaction with Doximity’s corporate accounts, and ensure a positive member and customer service experience.
  • Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers through popular social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn.
  • Communicate with followers and respond to queries in a timely manner.
  • Generate, edit, publish, share and monitor content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news).
What We’re Looking For
  • An empathetic individual who understands the complexities of the healthcare system and working within it.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 3+ years social media management experience preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.
  • A self-starter who can operate with a high degree of independence.
  • Proficient with social media posting and content creation tools.
  • Video editing and graphic design experience is a nice to have.
  • Experience working in the healthcare sector is a strong plus.
