REPORTS TO: VP & Senior Product Leader- Kount

Kount has an opening for a Product Manager, 3rd Party Integrations in our Boise, Idaho office.

Job Summary:
As a lead member of the Kount Product team, the Product Manager, 3rd Party Integrations is responsible for designing new products to support businesses in their fight against digital account fraud. These customer-focused products will support and inform the business strategy and solve emerging problems faced by digital businesses. The Product Manager, 3rd Party Integrations will be responsible for collaborating with clients, prospects and key internal stakeholders to define the product features which will create value for clients. He or she will work with the Product Owners and Software Engineering to translate these features into user stories for development, the product marketing and sales teams to articulate differentiation and key messages for the features and products, and to act as a thought leader on digital account protection in the industry. The Product Manager, 3rd Party Integrations will have the ability to shape the future of products at Kount through data-driven insights, analysis, definition and communication and help bring a vision to fruition.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Be a leader in understanding the market needs for digital account protection, developing and communicating vision, creating and managing a goal-based product roadmap, and launching products along with Product Strategy, Sales, and Customer Success leadership.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer and competitive landscape by conducting market research and customer discovery, clearly defining problem statements and opportunities, and defining competitively differentiated feature sets.
  • Work with Product Owners to define product features and enhancements, with a clear understanding for how these can be incremented for immediate customer value.
  • Partner with the UI/UX design team to deepen understanding of target user needs and develop a user-focused product.
  • Continuously discover product usage after launch using internal and external stakeholders and incorporate findings into the product roadmap.
  • Communicate product vision and customer voice to Software Engineering, while managing trade-offs to iterate, deliver and scale customer value.
  • Maintain technical understanding of internal systems and systems architecture.
  • Work closely with Product Marketing to translate technical aspects in order to support go-to-market strategy and deliverables.
  • Partner with stakeholders to balance creative vision with development constraints enabling engineering teams to create features that satisfy the product roadmap.
  • Work with Customer Success, Sales and Solutions Engineering to communicate product capabilities, integration methods, and answer questions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • CSPO or related product management certification
  • 5 or more years of software product management experience, preferably as a Product Owner, Product Manager or general manager of a product line, launching new SaaS products and managing the full product lifecycle.
  • 3 or more years of proven success in a fast-paced product-centric role employing an Agile and Scrum.
  • Advanced knowledge in Fintech, cybersecurity, identity management, and fraud, risk or loss prevention, and experience creating SaaS products that support those domains.
  • Strong understanding of front and back-end mobile and web technologies in relation to SaaS B2B applications.
  • Expertise in defining and writing technical requirements and user stories.
  • Experience communicating and collaborating with individuals who possess a broad variety of technology and business knowledge.
  • Strong organization, communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize appropriately and to substantiate decisions with data, experience, technical understanding, and strategic alignment.
  • Experience as a Product Manager at an eCommerce company, specific experience with the order checkout flow. Bonus points if you have experience using a third party eCommerce platform, like Shopify, Big Commerce, Magento, SFCC, or other.
  • Knowledge of payment gateways and how they impact the checkout flow
  • Knowledge of the order management and/or fulfillment process in eCommerce

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience managing products for the use of enterprise businesses.
  • Experience attracting, developing, and growing product team members.
  • Knowledge of how Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning can be used when developing customer solutions.
  • Experience with UI/UX design, testing and validation.
  • Demonstrated experience balancing technical constraints, timelines and user experience.
  • Proven ability to inspire and influence software engineering teams. Bonus points if you have experience using Kount or another fraud provider in your eCommerce environment
  • Bonus points if you have experience with the payment refund process for an eCommerce company
