What you’ll be doing...

Our Experience design team is involved in defining the hardware, packaging, the service design of our product as well as the user interface of our software on the Android, iOS and Web components of the Reveal platform. As a SaaS leader, we know our talent is the most important component to our success. We hire top talent and empower them to do their best work. The VerizonConnect Experience team is a global team of 70+ researchers, UX, UI, Service,Content and Product designers all following the Lean methodology. You will work closely with your Research, Product and Engineering colleagues to understand the needs of our users and deliver a design that our customers love.

  • Lead Experience design working closely with engineering, hardware, product management, product marketing, senior executives and key stakeholders to ensure the team goes successfully from research, to early stage concepts, user testing, to launch and repeat, all following our established end-to-end process.
  • Be responsible for the strategy, OKRs and KPIs in your area.
  • Be an ambassador for simple design, ease of use and user centered design across Verizon Connect.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
  • Senior level experience in design.
  • Experience collaborating and aligning with Product Management and Engineering.
  • User Research leadership and data analytics experience.
  • Willingness to travel.

Even better if you one or more of the following:

  • Industrial Design experience, unifying the hardware and software user journey in a seamless physical and digital journey.
  • Examples of how all you and your teams’ workshops lead to actionable plans with accountability from other functional areas and leadership.
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable updating senior executives and reporting regularly.
  • Service Design process, and proven track record of actionable outcomes based on To-Be blueprinting workshops and stakeholder management.
  • End to end Saas product experience.
  • Experience of working in cross functional teams throughout theend-to-end Design Process.
  • Working in Lean Kanban and Lean UX Methodology.
  • Experience in the Design Thinking methodology.
