The team:

Our On-Demand Convenience (ODC) team owns and manages Deliveroo’s efforts in the online grocery sector in UAE, from managing relationships and performance with key partners as well as establishing new partnerships. We are consultants that use data-driven analytics and industry knowledge to provide best-in-class support and strategic value to our ODC partners, supporting them in driving their growth agendas and continuously improving their offering to consumers. Your role will be commercially focused, however you will work cross-functionally with teams including Operations, Marketing and Product to ensure success.

What you will be doing:

  • Manage a portfolio of Deliveroo’s most important Convenience and Grocery retailers, including high sales volume drivers and global retail / grocery brands
  • Own relationships with key retail / grocery industry stakeholders
  • Analyze data to drive growth and profitability, both for your partners and for Deliveroo
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and unlock growth potential for your portfolio partners
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments (Marketing, Operations) to drive new initiatives

What skills you'll need:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a relevant industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • well-organized with excellent team-player qualities
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships
  • Agile and highly adaptable to a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong knowledge of the restaurant industry is a plus
  • Fluency in English is a must
