Medtronic offers a family of solutions that helps people with diabetes on multiple daily injections (MDI), regardless of where they are in their diabetes journey. The Senior Global Program Manager, Downstream Marketing, Portfolio & Programs is responsible for growth strategies, commercial messaging, and supporting tools to help the organization achieve business targets.

Medtronic Diabetes is based in Northridge, CA, this role is open to remote for well-qualified candidates.
A Day in the Life

  • Create differentiated value proposition for the Medtronic diabetes portfolio to drive product/service adoption, utilization, and customer loyalty.
  • Define portfolio messages, programs, and support tools for field execution.
  • Analyze business trends and customer insights to determine new program opportunities and measure impact of existing programs.
  • Lead creation of business case and business model for programs that address customer experience, competitive positioning, and product benefits. Liaise with regional marketing to build business case globally.
  • Partner with Sales Operations and Finance to anticipate product utilization and demand forecast, driven by programs.
  • Lead marketing efforts for key projects supporting current customers with heavy focus on strategy development and project management
  • Travel approximately 25%
Must Have: Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements listed below are evident on your resume.

  • Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience or MBA/Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience
  • Must have at least 3+ years’ marketing, sales and/or program management experience
  • Medical device experience


Nice to Have

  • MBA
  • Product launch experience
  • Experience in Diabetes
  • Technical aptitude
  • Sales orientation or exposure to working with a high performing sales force
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement marketing plans with strong evidence of product management experience
