Summary

Responsible for the corporate development functions of the International Banking team, with special focus on business results, interacting closely with the International teams both in US and other geographies, supporting multiple X-border projects and initiatives, leveraging our global infrastructure. The position also manages processes, projects, and procedures within the International Banking team. S/he will provide well-analyzed and defined recommendations on process improvements while influencing others regarding International Banking policies, practices, and procedures. Ensures transparency of business results, finance and processes. Typically organizes a reporting system and tracks goals accomplishment, collect and process data and provides managers with all necessary company management data and information. S/he participates in global initiatives and recommends opportunities for improved efficiency, effectiveness and/or risk reduction. Product Management role executes complex product initiatives and delivers high quality products on time and within budget that meet defined goals for the product. S/he ensures product requirements are completed and technical requirements can be created. The incumbent owns the product launch and lifecycle management, including the identification and initial diligence into business or technology partnerships, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, understanding the competitive marketplace and trends, developing a business case and pricing, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinates reporting and information sharing for the group
  • Coordinate from a US perspective global efforts with other Santander International Business units to develop the future Multinationals road map (MIS global tool, new CRM, streamlined Credit processes, etc.)
  • In coordination with our other International Banking units, develop and support specific projects focused on leveraging our global infrastructure.
  • Provide internal and external market intelligence including competitor analysis reports and best practices
  • Support all matters related to compliance, risk & controls and reporting for the International Banking group
  • Collaborate with AML 1st line of defense partners in audit / testing engagements to ensure and effective and accurate review of the team's risk management, governance and internal controls processes

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively to internal teams, key partners and executive management
  • Experience with Salesforce strongly preferred
  • Strong technical skills (ie. Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc)
  • Experience with compliance and risk & controls
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
  • Solid experience with reporting and data manipulation
  • Self-starter: forward thinking, with a positive/can-do attitude
  • Adapts quickly to change and makes suggestions for increasing the effectiveness of change
