Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Merchandise Operations Manager is responsible for driving Calvin Klein North America milestone execution and performance management across categories (Underwear and Apparel, both Off Price and Mainline) and channels throughout seasonal product calendars. They will lead calendar/process clarification and improvement in support of Calvin Klein North America brand initiatives and help enable speed. They will also help lead in building a common language and hierarchies across channels to improve data integrity and consistency across channels.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

  • Merchandise Operations
    • Lead communications, tracking, and recap around key merchandise processes and calendar milestones
    • Work with Merchandise leaders and cross functional teams to ensure necessary pre-work is communicated and completed ahead of calendar milestones
    • Identify and attend key meetings to help facilitate and achieve objectives of for brand product strategies
    • Track and report adherence to key calendar milestones
  • Calendar clarification and improvement
    • Continually assess improvements or clarifications needed to product calendar and merchandising processes and work with teams to evolve as needed
    • For new or adjusted calendar milestones, create and communicate objectives, agendas, templates and responsibilities needed
  • Merchandising hierarchies and common language
    • Ensure teams are moving toward common language and hierarchy and flag inconsistencies that need to be addressed
    • Help establish a common language that will enabler brand strategies and goals
    • Support teams in what next steps are needed to move to common hierarchies and language and help instill accountability / follow up from the central merchandising team

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience: At least 4-6 years of merchandising or go-to-market experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising or equivalent

Skills:

  • Excellent process management and organization skills
  • Excellent problem solving, interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong excel skills
  • Works autonomously and able to navigate through ambiguity
  • Self-starter with a can do attitude
