We are assisting our iconic corporate partner to hire a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer.

Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, Digital

This role will be remote. Ideally, candidates will be in Boston or New England.

Reporting to the Director of Software Engineering, the Senior QA Engineer is a proven leader who will lead quality assurance initiatives across our Omni-channel initiatives.

In this role you will:

• Lead quality assurance initiatives including management of 3 ^rd party QA vendors
• Be well-versed with QA methodologies- write reusable, testable, and maintainable test scripts
• Create test scenarios and execute functional test cases that will serve as acceptance test criteria for enhancements and new applications
• Have experience with using DevOps process for user story review, bug analysis, monitoring automation runs
• Provide defect management oversight by providing timely defect reporting, safekeeping and tracking through defect-life-cycle
• Find ways to enhance the testing process with new tools, strategies or techniques to troubleshoot problems and perform complex system tests
• Have a basic understanding of databases and writing SQL scripts
• Manage multi-browser testing, load, and performance testing
• Develop Test Automation with open source and market-leading vendor solutions to create functional, regression, or performance tests.
• Collect and effectively communicate test execution metrics
• Have an understanding of tools like Selenium, Appium, etc.
• Be proficient in at least one programming language

You should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 8+ years of relevant experience in testing enterprise software solutions
• Expertise in automation testing
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholder while working in a collaborative team environment
• QA testing experience in automated testing, code repository and deployment tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, Silk test, SVN, Gradle, Jenkins, etc.
