Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• 4 years of experience in marketing, consulting, or agencies.
• Experience in project and stakeholder management.
• Ability to speak and write in English and Mandarin Chinese fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in partner marketing with developers, payments partners, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and/or carriers.
• Experience and understanding of e-sports.
• Passion for and knowledge of mobile games and the gaming industry in general.
• Demonstrated analytical success and capacity for developing and understanding strategy. Ability to distill large amounts of data into observations and actionable insights.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to define and drive large initiatives across organizational boundaries.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English, including excellent presentation skills.

About the job

As an Associate Product Marketing Manager working on Google Play in Taiwan, you will be one of the crucial members who are responsible for shaping the future of Google Play in the market. You will set the strategy and vision for Google Play and take it through to execution through scaled and consumer-insight-driven efforts. Together with cross-functional teams, you will be involved in creating and implementing buyer growth programs and initiatives. You will also be responsible for mining insights, and driving brand equity through suitable brand building tactics. A major part of this role involves working with top gaming developers and local partners to grow the Google Play ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of annual strategy and plans for Google Play in Taiwan, including goal setting and cross-functional alignment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to land first party campaigns and amplify key gaming moments during the year.
• Establish strong mechanisms to measure marketing activities and track and socialize results with other markets, regional teams, and global stakeholders.
• Establish a strong understanding of our user base and deliver quality creatives for marketing campaigns.
• Develop consumer narrative and positioning, key messages, and launch strategies for key Google Play Platform initiatives. In conjunction with agencies and other internal and external marketing partners, produce compelling communications strategies and marketing collateral.
