Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Our four major business lines include Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Wells Fargo Commercial Capital. We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses.

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

We are seeking a Software Sr Engineer - ETL Developer with core experience in creating SQL Server database objects who can develop T-SQL applications, build stored procedures and generating ETL and reporting solutions using MS SQL Server BI Suite (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS).

Ideal candidate will have experience in various phases of Software Development Life Cycle such as System Analysis, Design, Coding, Integration, Testing, Implementation and Maintenance including Reporting. Ideal candidate will have expert proficiency in ETL concepts and dimensional modeling including Star, Snowflake schema. Other duties may include developing Business Intelligence Solutions using Power BI.

Selected candidate will be required to work within one of the following Wells Fargo locations: 300S Brevard St, Charlotte, NC 28282; 3340 Walnut Ave, Fremont, CA; 255 2nd Ave S Minneapolis MN. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

• 7+ years of consultative business analysis experience
• 7+ years of development and implementation experience with applications, databases, or a combination of both
• 5 + years of experience supporting or designing complex ETL production environments
• 7+ years of SQL Server SSIS, SSRS and SSAS experience
• 7+ years of software engineering experience

• Knowledge and understanding of technical documentation: impact analysis, detailed designs and unit test plans
• Knowledge and understanding of web development: leading complex business workflow solutions
• 2+ years of Agile experience
• BS/BA in computer science, applied statistics, quantitative economics, operations research or a related field
• Experience performing moderately complex to complex test data conditioning, regression testing and testing validation
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• An industry-standard technology certification

• Ability to work additional hours as needed
• Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment
