IMMUNOLOGY LEAD

Lilly Turkey has successfully launched products in Psoriasis and Rheumatoid Arthritis and is preparing launches in new indications in both dermatology and rheumatology areas. We have an emerging immunology portfolio, and the brands are aimed to achieve leadership positions in their indications in the highly competitive biologics market. It will be critical for the Immunology Leader to evolve an integrated strategy, to leverage on synergies and coordinate within the team to ensure excellent execution of brand strategies. The Immunology Leader will also be responsible for developing launch readiness plans and coordinating all launch preparations for new indications. This role requires deep competency in brand strategy and launch strategy development given the complexity of simultaneous development across multiple indications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development and maintenance of a deep understanding of the market landscape, competitive efforts, and value needs/insights of customers; ensure that this understanding drives the thinking for marketing deliverables and cross functional decisions and plans.
  • Ensure compelling and differentiated brand strategies and positioning are executed with appropriate customer solutions & tactics.
  • Lead and coach immunology brand managers. Avoid duplication of work within the team, identify team efficiencies, prioritize, and optimize value added work that makes the most impact in achieving brand objectives.
  • Own launch readiness activities for new indications, coordinate cross functional efforts, develop launch readiness plans and customer plans for new indications.
  • Work closely with the brand managers and sales team to align on marketing strategies and ensure necessary adjustments are made based on the feedback.
  • Coordinate customer and thought leader engagements with cross functional team and ensure brand managers spend appropriate time on the field connecting with customers.
  • Be accountable for developing sales forecasts and performance reports, regularly monitor operating budget and brand spending.
  • Respect the Lilly and local code standards & procedures & regulations, have a pro-active approach taking guidance and standards into account and coach the brand managers accordingly.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA or master’s degree in marketing is a plus)
  • Minimum of 5 years pharmaceutical commercial experience with at least 3 years in brand management. Experience in immunology is certainly a plus and preferred
  • Excellent Turkish and English communication skills, both written and spoken
