Lilly's Biotechnology Discovery Research and Synthetic Molecule Design and Development organizations work together to discover and optimize novel biotherapeutic medicines (small molecules, proteins, peptides, antibodies, oligonucleotides) for advancement into clinical research in key areas of unmet medical need including diabetes, oncology, immunology, neuroscience, and others. Critical components for success in this industrial postdoctoral position include ensuring the discovery of drug candidates, design of drug products that meet patient needs and development of processes, which are robust for manufacturing.

In this role you will engage in designing and conducting research on solid dosage forms for oral peptide delivery. The scientist will work collaboratively with a wide array of scientists from many areas, leading/supporting relevant research initiatives, bringing new capabilities/technologies and providing internal/external influence.
Ph.D. in pharmaceutical sciences, chemical engineering, polymer science, biomedical engineering, or related subject areas.
This position is not permanent. It is for a fixed duration of two years with potential to extend to 3 years and for maximum of up to 4 years.
