The Consumer Lending team partners with other businesses across Wells Fargo to create and deliver transformational experiences that help customers gain access to credit. The vision for the Consumer Lending business is to leverage technology and data to make it simple for customers to easily access credit when and where they need it. Consumer Lending serves customers across the country through our distribution network of more than 5,300 retail banking branches and Home Lending offices, as well as online and digital channels.

Responsible for operations and providing day-to-day direction to a large team of bankruptcy analysts, leads and specialists. Duties may include: supervising workflow and quality of bankruptcy/collections activity; working with management team to identify problems and improve bankruptcy/collections efforts; communicating company and unit policy, procedures, and practices. Responsible for or participates in the hiring, coaching, developing and supervising of team members, including decisions relative to performance reviews, hires, terminations discipline and salary actions, etc. Responsible for performing budgetary, product and/or business case analysis; researching/analyzing special projects as assigned. Provides guidance to staff for resolution of complex issues where expertise is required to interpret and administer policies, guidelines or processes. Mitigates risk by adhering to bankruptcy code as well as to all policies and procedures, as well as local state and federal regulations. Position may have operations, collections and bankruptcy responsibilities.

  • Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your employees feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them
  • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented employees, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing employees, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience
  • 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: loss prevention, bankruptcy or customer service in the financial services industry

  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
TX-Irving: Min: $58,600 Mid: $82,500
NC-Raleigh: Min: $58,600 Mid: $82,500
