Communications & Brand Management delivers strategic internal, external, and executive communications for Wells Fargo and is responsible for driving the company's brand strategy. The team provides world-class counsel to accelerate the business and deliver relevant content to build trust, drive stakeholder perception, and protect and enhance the company's reputation.

Employee Communications & Employer Brand manages strategic internal, external, and executive communications for Wells Fargo. The team delivers world-class communications counsel and content to stakeholders in ways that builds trust while protecting and enhancing the company’s reputation and culture.

We are looking for Senior UX Designer (Digital Consultant 4) who can deliver user-centered, best-in-class designs from ideation to finished product. This position reports to the Head of the Employee Digital Experience and UX Design within the Enterprise Channels & Digital Experience team and will help elevate the employee digital experience via the company portal as well as other employee facing channels, applications and tools.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Leading design initiatives on high-visibility projects
• Mentoring junior designers
• Creating and improving design solutions for web and mobile applications that are based on user research and user centered design techniques
• Creating designs that influence the strategy and employee experience of our digital properties
• Crafting and facilitating workshops to answer critical business questions through design thinking, prototyping and testing with users
• Design journey maps, wireframes, information architecture, low and high resolution concepts and working prototypes
• Establishing, refining and documenting design patterns
• Being a Brand Steward; Understanding and applying Wells Fargo’s brand core design principles
• Understanding and applying Accessibility design principles for ADA compliance
• Taking a proactive approach around designing for inclusivity
• Creating standard design guidelines for employee digital properties that are brand compliant and user centric
• Presenting designs and key milestones to peers and stakeholders
• Advocating for the employee and educating at all levels on the importance of user centered design
• Participating on scrum teams as a dedicated UX designer
• Collaborating with the design team, product team, technology team, various stakeholders and users

As a Senior UX Designer you:

Portfolios will be requested from selected candidates.

This position will work remotely until Covid restrictions are lifted. After restrictions are lifted, there will likely be a hybrid working model with both remote and some in-office.

• 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: digital customer experience, digital product/program management, digital platforms, or digital consulting demonstrated through work or military experience

• 6+ years of interaction design experience
• 6+ years of visual design experience

• Experience with InVision, Sketch, Figma and proficient in the use of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Experience working on agile development projects
• Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Graphic Design, Visual Design, Information Sciences and/or Masters Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors
• 1+ years of planning and/or executing design thinking workshops or design sprints
• Education or certificates in UX Design

• Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
