Job Description

KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Corporate Communications to join our Corporate Communications organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead communications strategy for the firm’s transformation journey and implement communications tactics related to change initiatives that prioritize employee sentiment and KPMG brand and reputation
  • Advise Firm’s most senior leaders on best practices and proven communications approaches that enable successful transformations and deliver exceptional plans to support them; serve as a strategic advisor to stakeholders to maximize messaging opportunities and effectiveness; counsel Firm’s executives on change communication strategies and execution; recommend innovative ways for executives to connect with internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop change communication narratives, strategies and plans to drive message consistency and alignment with U.S. Strategy and establish discipline around measurement and reporting outcomes to leadership; establish appropriate metrics and KPIs to service clients and inform decision making
  • Serve as change communication subject matter expert and consultative resource for the broader Corporate Communications team, including developing and maintaining methodology and approach to support ongoing efforts to enhance consistency of skills and capabilities across the team
  • Deliver executive communications support for the Vice Chair of Operations in the form of strategic planning and communications materials development, including, planning and execution of Operations-wide events, amplification of firm content, external social content, external media opportunities; provide strategic communications guidance and support to Head of Technology and Head of Finance
  • Serve as a team leader and member of the Communications extended leadership team; Develop and maintain productive, collaborative relationships and proactively support other Corporate Communications team members and projects

Qualifications:

  • Minimum ten years of recent experience in Corporate Communications; focus on enterprise-wide change and transformation efforts
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business or related field from an accredited university or college
  • Strong track record of developing successful strategies and content for multiple communications channels; comfortable working with senior leaders and experience with people management
  • Exceptional writing and project management skills with keen attention to detail across all tasks and deliverables
  • Ability to thrive, multi-task and be flexible in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Collaborator and self-starter who exercises discretion and independent judgment
