The Facilities Operation Manager is the culmination of all the skills and resources of an experienced Facilities Manager with additional Maintenance, Operations, Design & Construction expertise together with customer relationship management skills. The incumbent has a strong background and emphasis on large scale facilities management and day to day operations delivery, financial and risk analysis, understanding of various vendor contract delivery methods, people skills, timely problem identification and resolution, construction techniques and project management tolls and processes at high and low complexity levels. Must also have a sound understanding of Time, Cost, Risk and Quality management through end to end project ownership. Ability to act fast on their feet whilst dealing with multiple Apple partners and internal delivery steams with accurate and timely structured and ad-hoc reporting. Incumbent will handle site operations and services. This will include managing multiple partner relationships. This person will also assist in the development of the overall site delivery including CAPEX/OPEX budgeting, resources planning.

- Experience in Facility Management or related field with recognised consulting or client organisation
- Related supervisory experience running full-scale FM team
- Solid understanding of finance systems & budgeting
- Contract / Operations Management experience
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Ability to connect and lead dispersed teams including project teams
- Experience with high end local and international technical projects and advantage
- Consistent record in planning, scheduling, budgeting, resourcing and executing of technical services including MEP, fire, janitorial, flooring, furniture, and pest control
- Understanding LEED/BREEAM/Green Star or other industry recognised green / sustainable practices
- Passionate about customer service and end-user experience
- Shown self-starter and highly motivated FM practitioner
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical & problem solving skills
- Ability to influence key partners
Description
Description Leadership accountability for delivery, management and maintenance of all RE&D site services, including; - Collaborating with Apple LOB, RE&D and their nominated internal / external vendors /partners - Hands-on provision of comprehensive Facility Management tools for soft & hard services - Lead single or multiple, simple to sophisticated facility projects simultaneously - Adherence to the use of established protocols, tools and processes - Manage internal and external vendors delivering soft and hard services - Ensure Apple’s operations and infrastructure are managed and maintained to the highest level, including internal and external building components - Drive consistency in RE&D site services and resources as directed - Adherence to the use of established protocols tools and processes - Advising, supporting and/or driving improvement changes to Apple RE&D site FM service offerings.
Education & Experience
Education & Experience Degree qualified in related field e.g. Facility Management / Business Administration
