Principal Experience Designer - Echtra

Job Description

Echtra Games is looking for a Principal Experience Designer to join our growing team for a new cross platform ARPG project.

We are a small game studio in San Francisco with a team of veteran game developers. At Echtra, we value diversity and support work-life balance.

Main Responsibilities

• Define the look and feel for the game UI on a new project
• Design and implement game UI
• Work with other artists to maintain consistent visuals between UI and other 3d and 2d game art
• Work with game designers to create clear and usable UI for various systems
• Iterate and adapt designs to meet changing requirements

Requirements

• Strong portfolio of UI work
• Ability to collaborate, give and receive feedback
• Experience developing games UI in Unreal Engine 4

Pluses

• Familiarity with ARPG UI and UX
• Experience developing UI for a wide range of screen sizes and resolutions
