Through Wells Fargo Private Bank, WIM is also a leading provider of trust, investment, and fiduciary services, including personal trust services and a number of specialized wealth services designed to meet the diverse needs of high-net-worth clients.

The Investment Analyst analyzes portfolio holdings and allocation exposures to recommend to senior investment staff any adjustments of those positions relative to the stated investment objective and the current investment strategy. Supports senior investment staff with active recommendations relative to the merits of one holding versus another within a portfolio context and current market conditions. Performs investment research and keeps well informed of economic and market events. May focus on one aspect of investment universe and disseminate findings. Analyzes existing and prospective client portfolios and prepares tailored recommendations. Supports client management responsibilities including portfolio rebalancing, asset allocation and location, asset and cash transfers, investment policy and quality assurance issues. May manage moderately complex investment portfolios in close connection with senior investment staff on related client accounts. Interfaces with manager research, securities research, various investment committees, mid-office support teams, administrative and risk/compliance efforts as they relate to client accounts. Active and proficient with all investment analytical tools, portfolio construction systems and procedures. Coordinates production of performance reports and client presentation materials.


Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of investment management experience


Desired Qualifications

  • High net worth client experience
  • Portfolio Exception System (PES) or ClientLink experience
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, economics, accounting, finance, or other business related field


Other Desired Qualifications
  • Progress toward or willingness to embark upon CFA designation
  • Proficiency with SEI, MOXY, Navigator, WealthIQ, Performer IQ, TMT and other Wells Fargo systems
  • Prior experience supporting Senior Portfolio Managers serving high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients

Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
