The Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) group provides technology solutions and support for Risk, Audit, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Corporate Properties, and Stakeholder Relations business lines. In addition, EFT provides unique technology solutions and innovation for Wells Fargo Technology, Enterprise Shared Services, and Enterprise Data Management. As a part of Wells Fargo’s Enterprise Risk Technologies - Calculation Services team is entrusted to create a next generation platform to alleviate limitations of legacy infrastructure using cutting edge data engineering/science tools and techniques. Goal is to enable and empower our risk modelers with a platform for centralized model life cycle across design, development, validation, and deployment

Responsibilities include:

• Hands on Data engineer with in-depth knowledge of Distributed big data systems, data modeling, coding,
• Experience working with Agile teams adopting and enforcing best practices related to data ETL and metadata management.
• Have a proven experience working in enterprise distributed systems with an expertise in root cause analysis, troubleshooting, debugging, testing
• Expert in API based architecture and have proven experience of building scalable and responsive enterprise API platforms.
• Well versed with python stack including core, distributed and numerical python.
• Ability to design and be involved with solution architecture.
• Collaboration with the business, other enterprise technology architects & engineering teams.
• Collaborate with data Scientists and build scripts to meet their data needs for ML Model Development.
• Develop, deploying or managing data pipelines Enterprise CI/CD.

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 2+ years of experience with Big Data or Hadoop tools such as Spark, Hive, Kafka and Map
• 4+ years of experience delivering ETL, data warehouse and data analytics capabilities on big-data architecture such as Hadoop
• 2+ years of development experience with languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or R

• An industry-standard technology certification
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• SAS programming experience in model implementation, reporting, and complex data manipulations
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
• Strong collaboration and partnering skills
• Strong technical and quantitative skills
