What you are good at

Job Description: Designing and implementation of web and standalone application using Java/J2EE and modern technologies to support large, complex, mission critical trading applications (requiring over eleven years of distributed system development using Java/J2EE). Participating in various software engineering projects using advanced development patterns and component-based architecture. Maintaining Schwab Bond Source (SBS) in order to provide a comprehensive Fixed Income Trading platform to Schwab’s Internal and external clients (Schwab.com, Schwab Advisor Center) as well as external dealer and regulatory agency systems. Actively collaborating with the team in ongoing development, including design, development, review, integration, test and deployment activities. This includes projects, maintenance and production support activities. Applying emerging technologies to the software development process. Analyzing both business and System requirements to create high level and detailed design documents. Designing and architecting to meet functional requirements while ensuring aspect such as scalability, availability, and fault tolerance are maintained. Utilizing J2EE technology on RESTful and SOA based web service development. Collaborating with an extended, remote team to deliver products in a timely manner and Examining the quality of the code written by offshore team by ensuring proper design reviews, code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.

What you have

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related field followed by 8 years of progressive, professional experience in job offered or related occupation.

Experience and/or education must include:

1. Cameron / QuickFix FIX engine
2. Cocoon mvc framework
3. SOAP and REST web Services development
4. Angular, TypeScript
5. Cloud Technologies Spring Boot, JPA, Hikari, Micro-Services, Hystrix, Spring-Cloud, Netflix-Eureka service Registry, Zuul, Ribbon, Config-Server, Swagger, Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
6. RTTM regulatory reporting systems
