Job Description

The Senior Director of Analytics and Data Strategy will lead our product portfolio data and analytics’ vision and strategy. They will be responsible for accelerating our ability to:

  • provide data driven insights to our customers (internal and external)
  • create patient access and adherence products with a consistent and measurable value prop
  • enable our product team to make data driven decisions
  • optimize our products and workflow through predictive analytics, data science, and democratization of data/analytics.

The Senior Director of Analytics and Data Strategy will develop and maintain a robust yet flexible data and analytics strategy for the team that effectively balances between current and emerging needs of the business. They will guide the business through all data and analytics focused decisions and closely partner with internal and external stakeholders to execute on the strategy.

This position reports to the Vice President of Product and requires an exceptional combination of domain expertise along with leadership, business, organizational, technical, communication and interpersonal skills.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop strategies and approaches to analyzing complex data sources using analytical tools to develop predictive models, insightful self-service dashboards, and conducting ad-hoc analyses
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to improve business performance using insights generated by the team; Provide actionable intelligence on the competitive environment, marketplace dynamics, customers, and other external and internal forces that could impact our business
  • Lead growth initiatives to drive the business forward through the creation of high-quality analysis for all of our products; Deliver executive level business case presentations from analysis performed that generate new business and retain existing business
  • Empower departments across the company to leverage BI solutions and reporting in their workflows
  • Coordinate and collaborate across the organization to drive data literacy. Responsible for roadmap creation and implementation of data literacy skills across the product org. Responsible for leading end to end change management for the analytics agenda. Train business users on effective use of self-service analytics tools; advocate for data-driven decision-making frameworks across the business.
  • Partner with our product teams to deliver valuable and actionable strategic insights to our clients in addition to traditional transactional reporting
  • Build and maintain an efficient analytics operating model that enables data driven decision making at all levels of the product organization.
  • Be accountable for driving the overall day to day management of analytic projects, timelimes, quality and client value
  • Partner closely with data governance, data architecture and data privacy to align the business/product needs and the ever-changing nature of the industry, with opportunities and risks of data sharing strategies and use.
  • Develop and implement fresh, innovative, client-specific offerings that will quantitatively demonstrate value and deliver business results
  • Come into the role passionate about developing and teaching others and communicating in a way that develops others

About You

  • Strategic thinker, able to understand and manage technology and analysts yet maintain a business and customer focus
  • Strong leader, able to inspire highly talented analysts to think strategically, master tools and technology, provide solutions to the customer and business, and accomplish more than they thought they could
  • Exceptional combination of technical, organizational, business, and interpersonal skills
  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years’ work experience in a related field, in comparable leadership roles
  • Ability to work and thrive in a highly creative, collaborative, and dynamic environment
  • Significant experience completing anlaysis, building dashboards, and delivering insights to executive audiences using tools like SQL, Tableau, Excel or Python
