This Software Engineer acts in a lead technical role providing technical guidance and consultation with application teams, clients, and Engineering Managers for their technology domain environments including but not limited to cloud, middleware, operating systems, applications, Software-as-a-Service, and Platform-as-a-Service products. Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices. Provides the strategy and design for projects associated with their technology domain including, upgrades and deployments. Utilizes advanced technologies and methods to integrate their technology domain with other technology domains, enabling the creation of new or expanded heterogeneous environments. Develops new documentation and departmental technical procedures. Directs the gathering of performance statistics to assist in determining hardware and communication tools needed to support projected transaction volumes, response time and system availability targets. As an escalation point, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of highly complex technical problems. Leads projects and manages the work of less experienced staff. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported technology domain. Software Engineer with experience in performing Development, Test and BA activities. Successful candidates should be able to discern software and data integration/ETL business needs/user stories and take the following actions:
- Draft business requirement documentation, functional system documentation, user stories and ETL technical mapping documents
- Convert the business needs to engineering requirements
- Perform software development in .NET (C#) accessing data within Oracle or SQL Server databases
- Produce and execute test cases and scripts using different test development and validation methods and assist with test automation (preferably using Selenium C#)

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years of application development experience with ASP.NET(C#)
• 2+ years of experience with databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL server, or Teradata
• 3+ years of testing or quality assurance experience
• 1+ year of consultative business analysis experience

• An industry-standard technology certification
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies: used in waterfall or Agile development projects
• 2+ years of JavaScript development experience
• Knowledge and understanding of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Experience with one or more Agile tools used for tracking user stories or backlogs, such as Confluence or Jira
• Knowledge and understanding of cloud computing
• 1+ year of RESTful or SOAP web services

• Ability to work on call as assigned

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
NC-Charlotte: Min: $84,000 Mid: $120,000 Max: $156,000
NC-Winston Salem: Min: $84,000 Mid: $120,000 Max: $156,000
