Market Job Description
Main function of the job:Primarily focused on performing work to support the operations of both Capital Finance and Commercial Capital in EMEA.
Provides support for a variety of diverse support functions and/or operations/production oversight for multiple departments or a business group within a Line of Business. These activities may include:
- Regulatory/compliance matters,
- Planning, regulatory responses, change communications,
- Reporting/analysis,
- Tracking of policy/procedure adherence, etc.
- Assists with the administration of programs, projects or processes specific to Commercial Capital
- Maintains spreadsheets or databases to monitor departmental information.
- Coordinates and monitors implementation and maintenance of processes, procedures, and policies.
- Prepares correspondence; memorandum; reports; presentations or other assigned documentation. May participate in special projects as needed.
In addition to these functions, flexibility to carry out such other duties as may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Presentational- Management & other reporting and analysis to include:
- Weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting coordination and preparation to support Commercial Capital manager and various WFCF UK managers for reporting to EMEA teams and regulators
- Support on quarterly WFCF UK Board pack preparation
- Support on quarterly geographic reporting for ABL portfolio
- Risk identification
- Monthly preparation of interest adjustments to cater for needs of limiting cross- currency interest offset
Coordination and Support
- Planning, coordination and project management of roll out of ABL electronic reporting (ERS) to present portfolio clients
- Assisting with administration of programs, projects or processes specific to Commercial Capital
- Support and coordination related to:
- External Audit
- Wells Fargo Audit Services Internal Audit
- Risk Asset Review audits
- BPRM – process mapping and audit testing for US Regulators
- Service Level Agreements between lending entities
- Any other additional reviews.
Technical- Support to the Collateral Analyst team along with efficiency improvements and accuracy improvements on client reporting
- Support and technical advice to the Relationship Management team
- Client set ups for ABL deals including:
- Preparation of bespoke reporting packages for the client,
- Working with US and India reporting team for set up of ERS packages, as well as direct contact with the client related to this
- Support and advice to New Business Underwriters and Field Exam team
- Support and advice for structural set up on LUCAS ABL system,
- Support with training the client on the system and their reporting requirements
- Support of review, when required, to ensure overall accuracy of ABL system set up for each client and to minimize operational risk
- Provide ongoing technical advice and support to other areas of the organization, including Operations, Loan Administration and Underwriting.
- Support with various special projects
- IFRS provisioning assessment
- LIBOR replacement rates and set up in the ABL system
- Other project support as needed
- Flexibility to support on other roles and tasks as required
Report WritingFlexibility to work on report writing to support or cover Underwriting and Relationship Management in the event of capacity challenges that may face those teams
Market Skills and Certifications
Multifaceted role with multiple functions and requiring the ability to review at both a high level and being detailed focused.
- Strong systems knowledge and expertise on extracting, analyzing and presenting data from Asset based Lending software and production of relevant reports
- Technically minded with ability to quickly grasp complicated concepts
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with multiple levels of team members and external parties, including senior level professionals and customers.
