Digital Solutions for Business (DS4B) contributes to the development of products for Wells Fargo’s middle market and large corporate customers. Wholesale Digital Solutions manages experiences for Wholesale clients and capabilities that support those experiences. The Business Consulting Group (BCG) consists of a team of Business Analysts supporting Wholesale’s CEO® Portal, CEO Mobile®, various banking and core services on those two channels.
Business Analysts play a central role in our application development process. They must be able to learn quickly, capture requirements and drive issues to resolution in a timely manner. Key abilities include working collaboratively and exhibiting influence without direct control. They work with numerous individuals and frequently interface with Product Managers, Project Managers, User Experience Designers, Architects, System Analysts, QA analysts, Developers, etc.
This position will primarily support Alerts and Enrollments related efforts for DS4B and Treasury Management & Payment Solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform analysis work on projects. Demonstrate excellent BA skills and can apply any analysis techniques appropriate for a project. Facilitate discussions, document and maintain detailed business requirements, user stories, use cases and associated business rules. Facilitate walk-through of business analysis deliverables.
May require occasional coaching but works independently on projects. Maintain close relationship with Strategist to keep them informed and collaborate about projects, deliverables and sharing ideas or concerns.
Independently resolve complex business analysis issues on projects while keeping Strategist informed. Proactively build consensus get resolution to business analysis issues.
May be asked to prepare business process models (BPMN), prepare business object models (business view of data such as an entity relationship diagram – ERD) and to prepare various UML diagrams such as State Diagrams and Sequence Diagrams.
Estimate project efforts and provide project status as it relates to business analysis. Appropriately raise flags to the project and BCG teams.
