As the company's second line of defense, Corporate Risk — or Independent Risk Management — provides independent oversight of risk-taking activities. Independent Risk Management establishes and maintains Wells Fargo's risk management program and provides oversight, including challenges to and independent assessment of, the frontline's execution of its risk management responsibilities. We manage risk according to the Risk Management Framework and ensure all employees understand their individual accountability for managing risk.

The Enterprise End-User Computing Tools (EUCT) Governance team, within Corporate Model Risk (CMoR), is responsible for maintaining the company-wide EUCT Policy, independently overseeing all front line business’s governance approach to comply with the EUCT Policy, managing EUCT risks and corrective actions to support remediation of EUCT risks, including a technology solution to inventory EUCTs and reporting of EUCT risk.

The consultant should be recognized as a thought leader who takes initiative to achieve team goals and seeks opportunities to improve and enhance processes. The consultant will apply expertise to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of policy implementation, procedures, processes, systems and internal controls, and analyze complex business and/or system changes to determine impact. The consultant should also be an influencer with experience with enterprise wide programs and initiatives. • Interpreting and consolidating information into leadership reporting that is digestible and clearly communicates the risk of non-compliance with policy and EUCT risk
  • Creating and developing reports to committees, stakeholder updates, risk monthly reporting requirements and ongoing ad-hoc presentations as needed
  • Supporting standing governance meeting routines and committees (e.g., agenda planning, creation of presentations, minutes, tracking action items)
  • Supporting efforts to integrate and align with other enterprise programs or initiatives
  • Developing enterprise remediation activities to address underlying thematic issues
