Consumer Lending serves customers across the country through our distribution network of more than 5,300 retail banking branches and Home Lending offices, as well as online and digital channels.

Our Wells Fargo Auto team in Consumer Lending supports one of the nation's leading auto lenders. The team offers integrated financial services solutions designed primarily for the auto dealer community, providing financing and related services to both dealers and consumers nationwide.

This key role consults and provides guidance on the development, implementation, and monitoring of significant matters regarding strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, business performance improvement opportunities, and helping to manage the risks for the applicable business functions. This role utilizes thorough knowledge of the business unit's functional area or products to support strategic initiatives for the business.

Other responsibilities include:

• May present to executive management on business performance and recommends strategies to implement changes and improvements.
• May consult on process execution matters for risk policies/ programs, business process risk/ control assessment at process level.
• Provide management reporting for insight into key risk indicators, pipeline of work and work executed, including trend analysis and recommendations
• Coordinate timely and accurate SHRP system updates to ensure compliance with data integrity requirements
• Lead and participate in frequent meetings to ensure governance activities and testing engagements are managed appropriately within the business
• Perform risk based evaluation of activities to understand impact to risk and control information within the SHRP platform
• Engage in the development and implementation of new controls, action plans, and root cause analysis
• Assess and design appropriate metrics to inform and monitor the health of the operational risk environment
• Support a strong risk management culture through the implementation of key risk management programs into the standard operating framework of the business
• Support the coordination of Front Line engagement and implementations activities and ensures a consistent understanding of Independent Risk Management (IRM) expectations
• Coordinate with other leaders on the team to gather feedback from front line stakeholders

• 6+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning in financial services demonstrated through work or military experience

• Risk and Control Program Knowledge
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
• Confirmed ability to multi-task
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and apply prudent risk management principles
• Ability to provide thoughtful credible challenge to internal partners
• SHRP Platform knowledge

• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

IA-West Des Moines: Min: $78,100 Mid: $110,000
TX-Irving: Min: $78,100 Mid: $110,000
NC-Charlotte: Min: $78,100 Mid: $110,000
