As the Director of Kabbage Cross Product Analytics, you will be responsible for leading the performance reporting & analytics across Kabbage products. The ideal candidate will be passionate about leveraging a deep understanding of customer and product data to drive business performance. He or she should have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. He or she will have experience leading analytical projects and teams, while at the same time being excited to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty in the data.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Integrate and analyze data across products to help the business better understand trends across various customer segments, identify key drivers of customer engagement and lifetime value, and measure the impact of customer centric campaigns
  • Communicate conclusions, implications and recommendations of analyses in a clear, concise fashion
  • Create holistic views of customer performance across products, partnering with Marketing and Product teams to define and standardize most relevant KPIs for cross product engagement and customer value
  • Work closely with various stakeholders to fully understand business requirements and desired outcomes for all data initiatives, product analytics and reporting
  • Build and develop team of product analysts, providing leadership and coaching to the team in areas such as application of advanced analytical concepts, test design, and effective presentation design
  • Manage and prioritize demands for data, ad hoc analytics, and product reporting from multiple stakeholders, reallocating resources as necessary to ensure alignment with business priorities
  • Develop, implement, and champion consistent approaches with respect to analytical methodologies, processes, and tools
Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 7 years of relevant professional experience including extensive experience in hands-on analytical role(s) leveraging data to drive decisions, translate operational performance into financial implications, and influence business strategies; Financial services experiences is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. statistics, engineering, math, science, economics, etc). Advanced degrees preferred.
  • Team player with proven ability to influence and collaborate with others across all levels of an organization
  • Ability to effectively lead analytics projects and teams, while at the same time being excited to also roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty in the data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts and analytics-driven findings to non-technical stakeholders, and to explain business processes, concepts, and issues to technical resources
  • Strong curiosity and initiative in tackling complex business analysis; dives deeply into the data, relentlessly pursues its meaning, and how these insights can drive business performance
  • Proficiency with one or more database querying tools (SQL, R, Python)
  • Extensive experience with analytical tools and visualization software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Looker)

  • Leadership: Strong people management skills and proven ability to lead and develop an Analytics team; Creates a culture that engages business partners through a collaborative approach to make fact based, data-driven decisions.
