Where do we need help?

We are looking for a hands-on and versatile E-commerce Manager to help us oversee the daily operation of our online channels. This teammate is going to serve as the leader in driving the growth of our digital sales channels and contact window to coordinate with different functions to allocate all the resources needed. With a full delegation to operate on the platforms, this teammate will form channel strategy, drive both free and paid traffic to forge a healthy traffic structure, and ensure consistently high-quality omni-channel experience. Acquiring market intelligence by capitalizing on digital tools and data to help us polish our commercial operation and product development, this teammate will help Allbirds with building a sustainable online business portfolio. He/she is someone with strong empathy for customer expectation to bridge our simple but innovative products with customers.

What does the job entail?

• Creating and monitoring operating budget and sales plan
• Collaborating with cross-functional partners to manage all aspects of the E-commerce business including business planning, content strategy and development, promotional campaigns and other online marketing, website design, customer service, web analytics and web technologies
• Managing the user experience of the online stores including site navigation, content development, checkout funnel and promotional campaigns
• Managing all aspects of analytics related to eCommerce and communicating relevant information to team members, management team, and cross-functional partners
• Generating and implementing new sales and marketing initiatives to increase eCommerce sales and profitability
• Identifying new areas of eCommerce opportunity beyond current organizational thinking
• Ensuring a fully integrated and motivated team and develop team members

More practical skills needed:

• 8+ years solid integrated e-commerce operation experience
• Hands-on operation skills, extensive understanding of Tmall, JD platforms as well as own-ecommerce channel
• Knowledge of the tools, methods and approaches that are driving higher conversion rates, increased average order value and acquisition techniques
• Skilled at using analytics to drive decision-making
• Proven leadership ability
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
