THE ROLE

Funimation is looking for a Sr. Talent Development Program Manager to join the People Team, reporting to the VP of Internal Communications and Programs. This role will execute programs aimed at creating a world-class work experience for Funimation team members and delivering on our mission to help everyone belong.

The Sr. Talent Development Program Manager will be a key player in the creation and management of our talent development program and our diversity and inclusion program. The right person for this role:

  • Has proven experience managing and developing training programs in a high-growth, geographically diverse organization
  • Has deep passion for and understanding of D&I and has experience with implementing D&I practices
  • Can work across an organization to ensure solutions are effective and impactful
  • Has experience leading and influencing teams, bringing credibility to their work in teaching others.
  • Is relationship-driven, able to work independently and in a team environment
  • Is able to flex across various topics and projects, and operate and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Sr. Talent Development Program Manager will be responsible for:

Talent Development:

  • Researching and implementing learning and development opportunities (training, courses, etc.)
  • Researching and implementing a new online learning platform and tools
  • Coordinating and managing training sessions
  • Improving and maintaining the onboarding experience
  • Maintaining data and insights around program success; leveraging insights to inform program plans
  • And more

Diversity and Inclusion:

  • Supporting leaders and teams in developing and executing D&I plans
  • Establishing community building programs (BERGs, etc.) that align with company culture
  • Planning for company-wide heritage celebrations and cultural moments
  • And more

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of experience in People (HR) related functions (talent development, talent acquisition, HRBP, D&I, internal communications, etc.)
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory and experience in training program administration, training methodologies, and application of data-driven training metrics
  • Understanding of D&I and experience in implementing D&I practices and initiatives
  • Strong project management, process improvement/management capabilities
  • Excellent influence, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience collaborating with business leaders, subject matter experts, and external vendors to build and deliver innovative learning solutions
  • Experience in event planning and coordination of logistics
  • Experience turning complex topics into engaging content across various channels
  • Passionate about employee culture and experience
  • Adaptability, flexibility and passion
