Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Prior experience in performing test automation proof of concepts and presenting the results to stakeholders
• Experience with test automation skills and automated test tools for online applications (e.g. Selenium)
• Experience in designing and developing automation frameworks or libraries using technologies such as Selenium (C#) or Web Driver
• Experience with Mobile/Web/BE automation

Preferred qualifications:

• Accreditation in ISTQB Foundation
• Detail oriented with strong analysis, process, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
• Experience working with remote teams

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes and driving the technical directions of your programs.

The Waze Quality & Program Management team spans across multiple disciplines within the R&D organization. From manual and automated testing efforts, implementation and enforcement of quality management workflows and methodologies across all Waze products, to program management, where we are being asked to lead complex projects. This includes planning requirements with internal clients and ushering projects through the entire project lifecycle, managing project schedules, identifying risks, and communicating clear goals to project stakeholders. Our projects often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's our job to keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of test infrastructure and test automation across all Waze products and technological stacks.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive set of test requirements are understood and aligned to business objectives.
• Own Waze’s test automation strategy and lead the automation testers by promoting this vision throughout the testing community.
• Manage a group of outsource software engineers working on Waze’s automation frameworks.
• Identify manual test processes and inefficiencies and improve them through automation.
