Job Description
The Broadridge Project Manager is encouraged to act as Broadridge’s project representative to plan, coordinate, secure and manage resources and tasks in the process of achieving specific Broadridge and client goals. The major focus of this role is to manage the implementation of products with Broadridge Asset Management Solutions, including Broadridge’s proprietary Revenue and Expense Management application, Revport.
Every Revport project will require a deep understanding of the financial services billing industry, the Revport product and the billing process. Critical to the success of the project are strong organizational and prioritization skills, successfully relating to and effectively communicating with a wide audience of business, technical and executive staff, and the ability to address and drive solutions to complex issues. The Project Manager is encouraged to learn the application, work closely with the business analysts that support each project and manage the project plans accordingly.
Professional Qualities for PM include:
- Providing leadership for the project while maintaining a focus on achieving results
- Acting as the contact point for the end client throughout the project lifecycle, including the development and presentation of project plans, progress reports and acceptance by the client of the final product, including participation in client workshops
- Internal senior stakeholder management and close liaison with development and support teams
- Ensuring the appropriate allocation and skilling of resources and their effective deployment throughout the project
- Coordination with our global product delivery groups in UK, US and India, ensuring deliveries meet overall project needs
- Active management of the projects to contractual obligations of all parties and the management of change control to those obligations
- Clear and concise project tracking and reporting. This includes but is not limited to weekly status reporting, action item tracking, regular project plan maintenance, metrics reporting, budget reporting, steering committee meetings, etc.
- Ensuring that the project is delivered to internal policies and controls
- Risk management and problem solving
- The development of project plans, including delivery, testing, in-service support, training and documentation
Qualifications
Essential requirements for this position are:
- Proven track record of project delivery within a financial services environment and preferably experience of large scale integration projects, managing multiple parallel streams
- Strong experience of Solution Provider / Client relationship management preferable for the provider perspective.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Strong influencing skills and experience of working in a matrix environment
- Strong leadership qualities and self-motivated, used to working autonomously with little supervision
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with both business and technology stakeholders at any level
- Great interpersonal skills and the ability to influence effective outcomes
- Experience of different project delivery methodologies, e.g. Agile / Waterfall and the ability to manage to combinations of these, depending on project needs
- Demonstrated contract and general negotiation skills experience
- Prior Experience of working with offshore and onshore teams
- Formal project management qualifications
