Responsibilities of an Analyst/Associate in the Canada COO Team include:

  • Conduct market landscape and client segment data gathering, analysis, and insights-generation
  • Partner with Finance and client businesses to track Canada financial results
  • Write market and business talking points and PowerPoint slides for executive team
  • Draft briefing notes and other high impact communication for GEC and senior executive use
  • Partner on client and industry initiatives, meetings, and events such as roundtables; the annual Canada Investor Summit; industry and stakeholder meetings and events
  • Work with client businesses as they navigate the Canadian market by providing market intelligence, client research, and support for client engagements
  • Support the roll out of strategic growth opportunities in Canada as they arise

Qualifications and experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in strategy, business analytics, or management reporting; preferably within asset management or financial services
  • Minimum BA/BS required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong PowerPoint skills required
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to synthesize information, summarize issues, and think creatively
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business, operations and suppliers at all levels of management
  • Shown ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, run multiple tasks, adapt to change, and work well under tight time restraints
