The Shared Applications Team develops frameworks and services leveraged across the entire Alation Data Catalog platform at scale. As a part of that, we provide advanced IAM functionality via scaled microservice architecture, Catalog object plugins, event management, data sharding and much more. Our customers are expanding exponentially and we are growing the team to enable the increase in data and user traffic through initiatives in all areas that we own. As a part of our initiatives, we are looking to advance the state-of-the-art through emerging technologies for intelligent identity and data access, based on the increasing level of security our customers require. We are looking for amazing engineers to join our team and take part in building out these technologies to create an innovative product experience!

Requirements - We want to talk to you if you...

• Have a CS degree and at least 2 years experience working as a software engineer
• Have experience with one or more technologies: Python, Java, Postgres, Kafka, Redis is a plus!
• Having basic knowledge of IAM systems, access control, LDAP, SAML, or OAuth2 is a plus!
• Enjoy problem solving and measure your success through impact
• Are highly collaborative and enjoy working with others

• Building frameworks and services to manage access across the catalog for any object and object hierarchies at terabyte scale
• Building framework and services to dynamically plugin new Catalog object behavior in our Data Catalog
